Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday launched a scathing attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Opposition's I.N.D.I.A. bloc saying that the only agenda that the alliance has is to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also took a jibe at CM Nitish Kumar calling him "palturam" referring to his party snapping ties with the saffron party in 2022 and joining the Mahagathbandhan.

"The INDI alliance has only one agenda to oppose PM Modi. When they were in power they did corruption amounting to Rs 12 Lakh crore," Shah said while addressing a public rally in Bihar's Muzaffarpur on Sunday.

"Whenever you blessed, Palturam turned back and betrayed the mandate.Whenever you blessed, Palturam turned back and betrayed the mandate," he said.

"Nitish Babu, leave the Prime Minister, the INDI Alliance people did not even make you the convener. You don't belong anywhere. Oil and water never come together, they remain separate," Shah said.

Targeting the ruling Janata Dal (United) and Rashtriya Janata Dal, the BJP leader said, "The RJD and JD(U) did not support abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir saying if it is removed it will result in bloodshed." "Lalu ji, leave the bloodshed, no one dared to  hurl stones," he added.
