The Indian Air Force is carrying out the aerial display of its fighter jets over Bhojtal Lake in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh to celebrate the 91st anniversary of the establishment of IAF. On October 8, 1932, the Indian Air Force was officially established. As per its official website, IAF's first ac flight came into being on 01 April 1933 with six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys (air soldiers).


To celebrate the foundation day, the Air Force is carrying out an aerial display of fighter jets in Bhopal to show its strength as it embraces the skies. Visuals posted by ANI and PTI show aircraft in different formations with jaw-dropping coordination in open skies leaving everyone spellbound.

Air Force Parade, Fly Past In Prayagraj On Oct 8


On October 8, keeping with the new tradition of hosting the Air Force Day celebrations in different parts of the country, the Indian Air Force will hold the Air Force Day parade and Air Display in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, an official release from the Ministry of Defence said.


It added that the ceremonial parade would be conducted at Air Force Station Bamrauli and the Air Display would be conducted over the Sangam area, in the vicinity of the Ordnance Depot (OD) Fort in Prayagraj. "The scenic surroundings would add to the appeal of the stream of aircraft flying-by in close formation," the statement read.
