Congress MP Rahul Gandhi stopped at Odisha's Vedvyas temple to offer prayers before continuing his 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra'.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi visited the Vedvyas Temple in Rourkela city of Sundargarh town in Odisha, where he offered prayers on Wednesday morning before continuing with his 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra'. He received a rousing welcome when he entered Odisha at Biramitrapur in Sundargarh district from Jharkhand on Tuesday.

On Wednesday morning, he began the day by offering prayers at the temple which is located near the confluence of Koel, Shankha, and Saraswati Rivers that all together form Brahmani River, the Congress leader was seen listening intently to the priest.

Rahul Gandhi then continued with his journey in Rourkela.

On Tuesday, he called upon the people of Odisha to come forward with their issues which he will try to resolve.
Addressing a gathering, Gandhi stated that he has been listening to the people for seven to eight hours during the Yatra and addressing them for 15 minutes every day. He said that he started the Yatra in order to seek justice for the people.
He also told the gathering that while the first edition of the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ which covered Kanyakumari to Kashmir was successful, but people from like Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and the Northeast told him that their states were not covered by that Yatra.
Upon his arrival, Rahul Gandhi was warmly received by members of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC), including its president Sarat Pattanayak and other senior leaders.
