West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was seen steering a boat while on her way to visit the villages of North 24 Parganas. Banerjee was also seen distributing chocolates and soft toys to students at a primary school in North 24 Parganas district.
The Bengal CM, who is on a three-day visit to North 24 Parganas district, also handed over winter garments and sarees to the locals of Khapukur in Hasnabad.Hon’ble CM @MamataOfficial paid a unique visit to villages in North 24 Parganas on a boat.

Mihir Adhikari, a local resident, said river bank erosion was another problem affecting the people of Hasnabad. "We are hopeful that the CM will listen to our problems and address them," he added, reported PTI.
During lunch, she stopped by the residence of a local woman, Namita Mondal. Banerjee was seen relishing rice with 'Tangra' and 'Rupchand' fish.
