Customers planning to make a bank visit in the next month, April should note that the banks will remain closed for around half a moth with several festivals lined up. This is the third month in this year when the banks would remain close for fifteen days as earlier the same happened in January and February. As annual closing of bank accounts take place on the first day of April, the banks in most states will remain close on April 1.
Apart from second and fourth Saturdays and all Sundays, important events like Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Eid-ul-Fitr will fall in April which will result in closure of banks.
In case you have any important bank-related work, then make sure that you visit the bank in advance and get the matter resolved. However, internet banking services will continue to be operational these days. ATM service will also remain active.
