Bank holiday in November 2018: In many cities, the banks are shut for 2-3 days on account of national holidays.

Bank holiday in November 2018: In the wake of a series of festivals in India, various banks in the country including SBI, PNB, BoB, HDFC, ICICI will be closed till next week. The Scheduled Commercial Banks like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI and PNB are shut for three days in some parts of the country including suburbs of New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Besides, in many cities banks are shut for two days. Check the list of holidays and city-wise bank offs below: Banks are closed on account of national holidays and weekend offs. The dates are mentioned below: • 21 November, Wednesday - Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi • 23 November, Friday - Guru Nanak Jayanti • 24 November - Fourth Saturday • 25 November -  Sunday Holiday As per the report by TOI, the three-day holiday implies to the banks of the below-mentioned cities: • New Delhi • Mumbai (along with rest of Maharashtra) • Hyderabad • Raipur • Ranchi • Dehradun • Jammu • Srinagar • Kanpur • Lucknow Also Read| 50% ATMs in India to shut down by March next year?  Besides, the banks in the capitals for below-mentioned states will be closed for only two days, 21 November (Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi) and Saturday, 24 November (fourth Saturday): • Ahmedabad (Gujarat) • Bengaluru (Karnataka) • Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) • Chennai (Tamil Nadu) While in other capital cities as mentioned below the banks are closed on 23 November (Guru Nanak Jayanti) and 24 November (fourth Saturday), the report added: • Chandigarh • Guwahati • Jaipur • Kolkata • Shillong • Shimla In the state of Kerala, Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi holiday was marked on 20 November and the next holiday will be on 24 November (fourth Saturday). In below-mentioned cities banks will be closed only on 24 November on account of fourth Saturday, TOI report said further. • Agartala • Aizawl • Bhubaneswar • Gangtok • Imphal • Goa • Patna (including rest of Bihar) While, in Karnataka, the banks will be closed on 26th November also on the occasion of Kanakadasa Jayanthi. Earlier this month, the banks were closed on account of a number of holidays including Diwali, Bhai Dooj and Chhath. Banks have said that there will be no shortage of cash at ATMs during the holidays.
