Farmers Protest At Delhi Border Intensifying
While thousands of farmers have been protesting against the contentious farm laws that were enacted in September, earlier this year, Amit Shah’s lunch at a farmer’s residence in West Bengal comes as part of BJP’s outreach program to spread awareness on the farm laws.
The agitation of farmers against the three agricultural laws passed by the Centre has entered its 23rd continuous day on Saturday. The protesting farmers have hardened their stance again, while the Centre continues to back the laws.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court on Thursday, remarked that farmers have the right to protest, but it must not endanger life and property.
