New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Ambika Soni on Friday tendered her resignation from the post of general secretary in-charge of Himachal Pradesh & Uttarakhand.


Ambika cited health reasons for her resignation from the party.

However, she will continue to occupy the post of MP.

Taking to media persons, Soni said, “I have requested leadership to relieve me as in-charge of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh due to health reasons.”

Sushilkumar Shinde has been made the in-charge of Himachal Pradesh.
