New Delhi: After the picture of Lord Hanuman was removed from the tail of the HLFT-42 aircraft model by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited displayed at the aero India show , CMD of HAL CB Ananthakrishnan said that the picture was not put with any intention and It has not been removed with any intention. It is just to see that program runs through successfully, it was unintentional and it is like that. 






“The picture was not put with any intention and It has not been removed with any intention. It is just to see that program runs through successfully, it was unintentional and it is like that,” Ananthakrishnan told the news agency ANI.






Earlier in the day, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) had removed the picture of Lord Hanuman from the tail of the HLFT-42 aircraft model displayed at the airshow.

Aero India 2023 is a five-day event, on the theme 'The runway to a billion opportunities'. The event will showcase India's aerospace and defence capabilities growth. It will display indigenous equipment/technologies and forge partnerships with foreign companies, in line with the 'Make in India, Make for the World' vision for a secure and prosperous future.  


Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 14th edition of Asia's biggest aero show - Aero India 2023 - at Air Force Station in Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
