4 Dead, 15 Injured After Bus Collides With Truck In Pune, Maharashtra

Four people have lost their lives while 15 others were left injured after a bus collided with a truck stationed on the roadside near the Pune-Solapur highway.

New Delhi: Four people died and 15 were injured after a bus rammed into a truck on the Pune-Solapur highway near Yavat village in the Pune district of Maharashtra. The incident happened at 5 am and the injured are out of danger, ANI reported citing Pune Police officials.

The incident comes a day after four people died on the spot in Maharashtra's Palghar after a car rammed into a bus on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway early Tuesday morning in Dahanu area.

Palghat police said the collision took place after the car driver lost control, reported ANI. 

"Four people died on spot in a collision between a car and a bus on Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway in Dahanu area of Palghar district. The car was enroute Mumbai from Gujarat and rammed into the bus after the car driver lost control of the vehicle," ANI quoted Palghar Police as saying.
