According to the media reports, Public Prosecutor Irfan Ahmed, appearing for Delhi police told the court that Ravi has shifted the blame on co-accused Nikita Jacob and Shantanu Muluk. He went on to say that Ravi has been inconsistent in giving replies and so she needs to be confronted with the other two accused.

The police requested the court to send her to three-day judicial custody saying that Disha Ravi has to be confronted with the co-accused. News agency IANS quoted Ahmed telling the court that "She has been evasive in giving replies. We have served notice to co-accused Shantanu who will join the investigation on February 22. She has to be confronted with the co-accused."

The 21-year-old activist Ravi was arrested from Bengaluru on February 13 in connection with allegedly editing and sharing a 'toolkit' on social media and she was remanded to police custody for a period of five days by a Delhi court. Her five-day police custody ended on Friday and she was produced before the Patiala House Court at 3 pm on Friday.

Disha had shared the toolkit with Greta Thunberg on Telegram and then deleted the WhatsApp group created to spread it. Disha's Telegram account has also revealed that other social media accounts associated with the toolkit were also deleted.
