Gangster Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi on Tuesday tied the knot with "history-sheeter" Anuradha Choudhary alias 'Madam Minz' amid heavy police deployment in New Delhi's Dwarka.

The wedding took place at 10 am in Dwarka's Matiala on Tuesday amid heavy police security to avert any incident of gang-wars or possibility of Sandeep's escape from custody.

Choudhary arrived at the wedding venue from Haryana's Sonipat in an SUV. There were heavy security arrangements made in and around the banquet hall, Santosh Garden, in Dwarka Sector-3, which has been booked by Sandeep's lawyer for Rs 51,000.

During the marriage, the marriage was turned into a fortress with the setting up of doorframe metal detectors, CCTV cameras, drones and deployment of armed commandoes.

Once a wanted criminal with a reward of Rs 7 lakh on his head, Sandeep from Sonipat got a six-hour parole for his wedding from a Delhi court.

Gangster Sandeep and Anuradha were in a relationship since the last four years, as per a report in Amar Ujala. The report said that Anuradha, who is currently out on bail, is a divorcee.

In 2006, Anuradha met a lecturer from Sikar's Shekhawati College, Felix Deepak Minz. The two got married in May 2007 but separated in 2013.

After being released from Ajmer jail in 2015, Anuradha got involved in several crimes with Sandeep after which they fled to Indore where they disguised as a couple. It was then when both started to love each other.

Currently, Sandeep is serving prison term on Tihar Jail while Anuradha looks after his parents. Sandeep was granted a custody parole for six hours by a Delhi court to attend his marriage.
