WABetaInfo the dedicated WhatsApp Beta tracker has revealed the new features that are going to be seen on the main app soon. Here are the most prominent ones:
Video & Voice Calling On WhatsApp Web
With WhatsApp Web 2.2043.7 update, the platform is likely to bring voice and video calls for web app users in the next few weeks. For this, hen users receive a call on WhatsApp Web, a window will open for them to accept or decline the incoming call. In another window will show the status of the call. This feature will include Group voice and video calls.
Expiring Media
In this feature, images, videos, GIFs that have been sent by a user will be automatically deleted when the user leaves the chat. The media file will disappear without leaving any trace that either reads ‘message is deleted’ or ‘expired media’.

Redesigned Storage Usage
WhatsApp will improve its storage section so that users are able to track their data storage in a better way. It will make the tab more interactive to deal with storage-related concerns by making the section more visually engaging.
History Sync
Right now it is difficult for users to seamlessly move between iOS and Android apps for WhatsApp as iOS data is stored in iCloud and Android data is stored in google drive. The history sync feature can help users easily copy messages and other chats from different time-frames from one device to another. In addition, it will enable them to copy their messages between both operating systems.
Multiple Device Support
As users are restricted to access their WhatsApp account only on 2 devices: a smartphone and a web app, one of the most awaited features is multiple device support. It will let users operate their own account from multiple devices at the same time, without the hassle of always being active through their main smartphone.
