Xiaomi offers Poco F1 smartphone at Re 1; Website crashes during flash sale

Chinese smartphone major Xiaomi kicked off its Re 1 flash sale as a part of its Diwali with Mi promotion for the Poco F1 smartphone earlier today.

Diwali with Mi offer: Chinese smartphone major Xiaomi kicked off its Re 1 flash sale as a part of its Diwali with Mi promotion for the Poco F1 smartphone earlier today. As soon as the flash sale was on, millions of users rushed to company’s official website to get the Poco F1 smartphone at Re 1. However, it is not clear that how many people actually managed to get the handsets because the homepage from where they were supposed to get the device kept on crashing. According to reports, the flash sale started at 4:00pm and within the first 5 minutes the website went down and many people couldn’t stand their chance to grab this amazing deal. Both mobile and desktop website of Xiaomi kept on crashing in the initial minutes of the flash sale. During the flash sale, some units of the Poco F1 were available at a price of Re 1, which is effectively free. The Chinese tech major on its website had already made it clear that only 10 units of the Poco F1 will be available in this sale. The Poco F1 is a high-end smartphone that is available at a retail price of Rs 20,999 for the 64GB variant. The company has announced that it will run its flash sale for three-days starting from October 23 and will offer different products every day. In a similar offer, Xiaomi will have flash sale for the Redmi Note 5 Pro which will start on October 24, Wednesday at 4pm IST and for the last day, the Mi A2 will be going on sale at Re 1 during flash sale. The last day will also see 49-inch Mi LED TV 4A Pro going up for sale in flash sale at Re 1. During Xiaomi’s Diwali with Mi sale, the company is offering massive discounts on almost entire range of products including the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The device will be available with a flat Rs. 2,000 discount. Apart from smartphones, Xiaomi is also offering 43-inch Mi LED Smart TV 4A will be available at Rs. 21,999 after flat Rs. 1,000 off during the Diwali sale.
