NEW DELHI: BlackBerry on Tuesday launched its KEYone 'Limited Edition Black' smartphone in India.
The KEYone features a 4.5-inch scratch resistant display with 1620x1080 resolution and offers Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection upon it. BlackBerry has combined a touch display with a physical keyboard to give users more useable space for typing than a typical 5.5-inch all-touch smartphone.
The device is powered with a Snapdragon 625 2GHz Octacore processor. This is the first ever BlackBerry with dual SIM support in India.

The smartphone houses the biggest ever battery in a BlackBerry device -- 3503mAh with boost-charging technology.
BlackBerry 'KEYone' features 12MP primary camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus, f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. The device also supports 4K video recording. It comes with a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM which is expandable upto 2TB with the help of Micro SD card.
KEYone also comes with a fingerprint sensor built directly into the keyboard spacebar for added functionality and security.
The device’s Smart Keyboard responds to touch gestures making web browsing, reading emails and writing messages a much smoother experience. The Smart Keyboard can also be easily programmed to launch up to 52 customizable shortcuts.

The device comes pre-loaded with DTEK by BlackBerry, enables users to automatically monitor their OS and apps to know when their privacy could be at risk and to take action to improve it. The DTEK app also tracks applications and notifies when someone is taking pictures or videos without the user’s knowledge, turning the microphone on, sending a text message, or accessing the contacts or location.
It runs on Android 7.1 and give users access to the entire Google Play store and apps. It also comes loaded with BlackBerry Hub a unified messaging inbox which combines emails, texts and messages from social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, BBM, Whatsapp, Instagram and others.
BlackBerry Hub also enables users to manage multiple email accounts without switching between apps, with support for Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Outlook, Microsoft Exchange accounts, and many other IMAP and POP3 email providers.

The BlackBerry KEYone Limited Edition Black will be available from August 8th, exclusively on Amazon India for Rs 39,990.
