The company, acquired by Lenovo, has announced a list of 15 smartphone that are expected to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update pretty soon.
The list includes the recently launched Moto Z, Moto Z Force, and Moto Z Play, along with a relatively recent G4 series of smartphones, including Moto G4, Moto G4 Play, and Moto G4 Plus.
Along with this, other smartphones that are officially listed out are Moto X Style, Moto X Force, Moto X Play, Nexus 6, and a couple of other internationally available smartphones like Moto X Pure Edition, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2, Moto Z Play Droid, and Moto Z Force Droid.
While this definitely looks like a sweet news for most of the Motorola smartphone users, a couple of others who bought the recent Moto G, Moto G Turbo, and Moto E3 Powers may not be able to digest the fact that they won't be receiving the update.
However, speaking about the update for the compatible smartphones, the company has announced to start rolling out on a gradual basis by Q4, 2016.
