The petrol-powered Aspire Blu Edition is priced at Rs 7.51 lakh while the diesel-powered version is priced at Rs 8.31 lakh. In comparison to the Titanium variant on which it is based on, the Aspire Blu Edition attracts a premium of Rs 25,000.
In comparison to the regular model, the Aspire Blu Edition features a black roof, 15-inch black alloy wheels, blue inserts and body decals. Inside, it gets ‘Blu’ emblem on the seats, blue stitching and inserts on the doors. While the regular Aspire features a black-beige interior combination, the Aspire Blu Edition gets an all-black interior theme. It can be had in three exterior colour options: Oxford White, Moondust Silver and Smoke Grey.
The feature list of the Aspire Blu Edition is the same as the Aspire Titanium. So it gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system (without Apple CarPlay or Android Auto), push-to-start, auto AC, reverse parking camera and steering-mounted controls. Safety equipment on offer includes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors. Ford offers a 5-year or one-lakh-kilometre warranty on the Aspire. It includes a standard 2-year warranty and a 3-year extended warranty.
Given the updates on offer on the limited-run model, a premium of Rs 25,000 isn’t too much for those who seek some exclusivity in mass-production cars like the Aspire.
Like the Aspire, Ford also offers a similar cosmetic package on its hatchback twin, the Figo. Ford, however, doesn’t state the Figo Titanium Blu, which is the top variant in this case, to be a limited production variant.
