Chhattisgarh Minister TS Singh Deo Quits Panchayat Post, BJP Slams Decision
TS Singh Deo is an elected member of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly from Ambikapur (District Surguja) since 2008.
New Delhi: BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya on Saturday slammed Chhattisgarh Panchayat Minister TS Singh Deo after he resigned from the Panchayat and Rural development department. Malviya took to Twitter and wrote, “It is Punjab all over again for the Congress in Chattisgarh. Just before elections next year, senior leader TS Singh Deo has resigned from all but the health minister’s portfolio. He is apparently miffed at Bhupesh Baghel blocking media from covering or inviting him to functions.”
