Chandigarh Court Vacated After Bomb Threat, Cops Launch Search Ops
Chandigarh district court was vacated after a bomb threat.
New Delhi: District court in Chandigarh was vacated Tuesday after a bomb threat was received, reported ANI adding that search operation was underway by the police, said an official. "We got information from the control room that there might be a bomb (inside the court complex). After this, a massive search operation has been launched," a senior Chandigarh police official said, reported PTI.

The court complex located in Sector 43 was evacuated, with the police asking all present inside including the judges and advocates to move out and police deployment has been strengthened in the area.
The area, which lied next to a busy interstate bus terminus in Sector 34, was cordoned off and bomb disposal and dog sqauds were brought in.
An advocate also confirmed to the news agency about the information received that suggested presence of a bomb inside the complex.
