Fire broke out at MCD office in Delhi's Keshav Puram area. According to reports, 8 fire tenders reached the spot to douse the fire. Delhi Fire Service officer Paras Kumar said, "There was a fire in the MCD office. The fire has been doused. No casualty has been reported."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Denmark on Tuesday on the second leg of his three-nation Europe trip after concluding his "productive" Germany visit.
"The first leg of PM @narendramodi's visit concludes. Has reinforced the India-Germany partnership. Next stop > Copenhagen," the Ministry of External Affairs tweeted.
Modi, who arrived in Berlin on Monday morning, held bilateral talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and co-chaired the India-Germany inter-governmental consultations.
"My Germany visit has been a productive one. The talks with @Bundeskanzler Scholz were extensive and so were the Inter-Governmental Consultations. I got a great opportunity to interact with business and Indian community leaders. I thank the German Government for their hospitality," Modi tweeted.
During their meeting, Prime Minister Modi and the German Chancellor reviewed the full range of bilateral ties, including giving an impetus to trade as well as cultural linkages.

The Khargone administration has decided not to relax the curfew today and asked people to celebrate the Eid-ul-Fitr and Akshaya Tritiya festivals at home in the violence-hit Madhya Pradesh city, officials said.
Security has been tightened in Madhya Pradesh's Khargone, where violence took place during a Ram Navami procession on April 10, they said, adding that all religious places in the city will remain shut today.
"Members of all communities have agreed to celebrate the festivals in their homes. There will be no relaxation in the curfew on Tuesday to ensure peace and law and order in the city," Sub-Divisional Magistrate Milind Dhoke told reporters on Monday night.
Earlier, the administration had announced a 24-hour curfew on May 2 and 3, but relaxed it for nine hours on Monday.

Germany has made an advance commitment to provide 10 billion euros of new and additional developmental assistance in India until 2030 under the Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) on Green and Sustainable Development Partnership signed between the two countries on Monday, MEA informed.
Addressing a press briefing at the conclusion of the first leg of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Europe visit on Monday (local time), Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said that the JDI provides "a long term strategic perspective" to the development cooperation agenda between India and Germany. "I think this declaration of intent, imparts long term strategic perspective to our entire development cooperation agenda and as part of which Germany has agreed to make an advance commitment of 10 billion euros of new and additional developmental assistance until 2030," Kwatra said.
After almost two years, devotees in large numbers offer Namaz at Delhi's Jama Masjid on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr on Tuesday.

President Kovind To Visit Assam And Mizoram From May 3-6
Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India, will visit Assam and Mizoram from May 3 to 6, 2022.
The President will address the 61st annual meeting of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha in Tamulpur, Assam, on May 4, 2022. On the same day, he will attend the valedictory ceremony of the North East Festival in Guwahati, which is held by the Ministry of DoNER as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The President will address the 16th convocation of Mizoram University in Aizawl on May 5, 2022.
The Bodo Sahitya Sabha was established in 1952 to promote the advancement of literature, culture, and language. It is taking the lead in preserving collaboration among various ethnic groupings.
Eid-Ul-Fitr To Be Celebrated In India On May 3
According to news agency ANI, because the crescent moon for the Islamic month of Shawwal was not seen on Sunday evening, clerics throughout the country stated that the holiday of Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed in India on May 3.
According to the Markazi Chand Committee in Lucknow, because the Shawwal crescent was not seen on Sunday evening, May 2 will be recognised as the end day of Ramzan, and Eid ul-Fitr will be celebrated on May 3.
Delhi To Receive Rainfall On May 3: IMD

The weather department also said that the heatwave is over in most parts of the country and the temperature will subside over Delhi and adjoining parts of northwest India from Monday,
RK Jenamani, Senior Scientist, IMD said that the western disturbance is quite active. The temperature will not increase this week. he also said that a yellow alert for thunderstorms has been issued for Northwest India which has been experiencing soaring temperatures in March and April.
Jenamani said, "Heatwave is over in most parts of India including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, and UP. Western disturbance is quite active. Temp will not rise for next 6-7 days. Northwest India has yellow alert for thunderstorms. Delhi to receive rainfall on May 3rd."
