The national capital recorded 613 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours with 3 deaths, as per the health bulletin reported news agency PTI. Positivity rate in the city stood at 2.74 percent.

AAP Parivartan Yatra In Gujarat To Begin On May 15
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said on Friday that it will hold 'parivartan yatras' throughout Gujarat's 182 assembly constituencies during a 20-day period beginning May 15.
Gujarat AAP election results In-charge Gulab Singh Yadav stated that the AAP will run candidates for all 182 assembly seats in Gujarat. "The parivartan yatra will usher in new improvements for Gujarat's development," he stated during a press briefing.
During the yatra, AAP leader Isudan Gadhvi stated that the party will raise awareness about the BJP's failings.
Rajiv Kumar To Take Charge As Next Chief Election Commissioner On May 15
Rajiv Kumar, the incumbent Election Commissioner, was named the next Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) on Thursday by the Union Ministry of Law and Justice. Kumar will succeed CEC Sushil Chandra, who is set to retire.
“In pursuance of clause (2) of Article 324 of the Constitution, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Rajiv Kumar as the Chief Election Commissioner with effect from the 15th May, 2022. My best wishes to Shri Rajiv Kumar,” said Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju.
Offline Classes In Punjab From May 15 to 31
In response to student and parent requests to preserve the summer vacation timetable consistent with past years, the Education Department has chosen to hold offline lessons from May 15 to 31.
Summer vacation is scheduled from June 1 through June 30. Education Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer stated that pupils have requested that summer vacation be scheduled as previously.
He stated that elementary school hours will be from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. from May 15 to 31.
