NIA Conducts Raids In Gazwa-e-Hind Module Case

National Investigation Agency (NIA) today conducted multi-state raids, leading to the seizure of incriminating documents and digital devices, in the Pakistan-backed Gazwa-e-Hind module case. The raids also revealed links of the suspects, whose premises were searched today, with Pakistan-based handlers. These suspects were in contact with the handlers, and were involved in propagating the radical, anti-India idea of Gazwa-e-Hind, ANI reported.

President Murmu To Begin 2-Day Odisha Visit From Today: 


President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Odisha for two days from Sunday and will attend a function in Paradip, news agency PTI reported citing officials. This will be her second visit to Odisha this month, following a three-day visit on November 20.


On Sunday, the president will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport and spend the night at Raj Bhavan.


Murmu will attend the Paradip Port Authority's 'Boita Bandana' (boat worship) ceremony on November 27.


'Boita Bandana' is an annual celebration of Odisha's ancient maritime glory.


Murmu will virtually inaugurate a multi-modal logistics park and lay the groundwork for the port township's new reservoir and water treatment plant, as well as a next-generation vessel traffic management and information system. During her visit to Paradip, the President is expected to meet with members of the fishing community. She is scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar on Monday evening.


Delhi Metro Services To Be Curtailed On Blue Line On Nov 26 For Maintenance: 


Delhi Metro services will be curtailed on a section of the Blue Line for about a couple of hours in the morning on November 26 due to track maintenance, PTI reported citing officials said on Friday.


The Blue Line in Noida connects Dwarka Sector 21 and Electronic City.


"To undertake the scheduled maintenance work between Karol Bagh and Rajiv Chowk section of Blue Line (Dwarka Sec-21 to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali) on the intervening night of 25/26th November 2023, train services on the Line will be briefly regulated on early Sunday morning," the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in a statement.


Train services on the Karol Bagh-Rajiv Chowk section will not be available until 6 am from the start time. 


This section's Jhandewalan and Rama Krishna Ashram Marg metro stations will be closed until 6 am. According to the report, services on the section will begin at 6 am, with the opening of the two stations for commuters.


Union Min Parshottam Rupala To Present National Gopal Ratna Awards Today: 


Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy, will present National Gopal Ratna awards on November 26 in Guwahati.


As part of the National Milk Day celebrations in 2023, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying is organising the National Gopal Ratna Award 2023. According to an official statement issued on Friday, the award ceremony will take place at the Veterinary College Ground in Guwahati.


Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Assam, and Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy, will also attend the award ceremony. The award consists of a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh for the first rank, Rs 3 lakh for the 2nd rank, and Rs 2 lakh for the 3rd rank, along with a certificate of merit and a memento in the first two categories.
