Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced financial assistance of Rupees 5,000 per month to construction workers in the national capital in view of GRAP, Phase-3 restriction which has put a ban on construction work in the city due to deteriorating air quality.

President Droupadi Murmu To Visit Nagaland, Sikkim From Wednesday
President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit two northeastern states - Nagaland and Sikkim – on a four-day tour beginning Wednesday, officials said.
On her maiden visit to both states after assuming office, she will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several projects.
Murmu will first reach Kohima, the Nagaland capital, on Wednesday and the state government will accord her a civic reception.
The President will virtually inaugurate newly constructed government schools, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) roads, and Kohima Super Market, officials said.
She is also scheduled to meet state ministers at Raj Bhavan which will be followed by a state banquet at the chief minister’s residential complex on November 2.
On Thursday, the President will visit the Kohima War Cemetery and Kigwema, one of the oldest villages inhabited by people of the Angami tribe, located about 15 km from the state capital.
PM Modi To Inaugurate Over 3,000 EWS Flats In Delhi On Wednesday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 3,024 newly constructed Economically Weaker Section flats in Delhi as part of an in-situ slum rehabilitation project on Wednesday evening, his office has said.
During the programme at Vigyan Bhawan here, the slum dwellers at Bhoomihin camp will also be handed over keys to the flats, thereby giving them ownership and a sense of security, a PMO statement said.
The in-situ slum rehabilitation in 376 Jhuggi Jhopri clusters is being undertaken by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in line with the prime minister's vision to provide housing for all, it said.
"The objective of the rehabilitation project is to provide a better and healthy living environment to the residents of Jhuggi Jhopri clusters, with proper amenities and facilities," the statement added.
The 3,024 flats under Phase I have been constructed at a cost of about Rs 345 crore and are equipped with amenities such as vitrified floor tiles, ceramics tiles and Udaipur green marble counter in kitchen.
