IMD Predicts Heavy Rain For Five Districts Of Odisha On Tuesday
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall for five districts of Odisha on Tuesday, according to a bulletin.
The IMD's Bhubaneswar regional center has issued a yellow warning (advising people to stay updated) for the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, and Jajpur.
The weather office also anticipates heavy to very heavy rainfall in the districts of Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Angul, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Boudh, Khurda, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Deogarh, and Sundargarh on July 31.
Additionally, light to moderate rainfall is expected in various other parts of the state. This rainfall pattern is likely to persist in many districts for another two days, until August 2.

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh announced on Monday that Congress, Samajwadi Party, and Trinamool Congress are among the parties that will participate in the INDIA bloc rally at Jantar Mantar. The rally aims to highlight the deteriorating health of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in judicial custody.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the BJP of conspiring to kill Kejriwal in jail, referencing his medical report which indicates his sugar levels have dropped 34 times between June 3 and July 7.
During a press conference, Singh was asked about the parties joining the rally.
"Congress, Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress, DMK, CPI, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP), Shiv Sena (UBT) and Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation. We are in talks with two to three more parties," he said, PTI reported.
