Services on a section of the Delhi Metro's Blue Line were delayed on Tuesday due to some technical issues, officials said.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) tweeted to alert commuters, which in the morning hours largely comprise office-goers.
"Blue Line Update: Delay in services from Indraprastha to Yamuna Bank. Normal service on all other lines," it tweeted.
A senior official said the delay was due to some technical issues. Further details were awaited from the DMRC.

A low-intensity earthquake of magnitude 2.8 shook Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district on Tuesday morning, the state disaster management said.

Govt Calls All-Party Meet On Sri Lanka Crisis
The Central Government has called an all-party meeting on Tuesday on the Sri Lanka crisis, in which Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and S Jaishankar will give information about the situation.
Tamil Nadu parties Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) demanded India's intervention in the neighboring country's affairs during an all-party meeting called on Sunday ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament.
Both the DMK and the AIADMK raised the issue relating to the situation in Sri Lanka and the Tamil population in particular in the island nation. After the meeting, DMK leader M Thambidurai said that India should intervene to resolve the Sri Lankan crisis. DMK leader TR Baalu also sought India's intervention in resolving the current situation in Sri Lanka.
SC To Hear Nupur Sharma's Plea On Quashing Of FIRs In Prophet Row
Nupur Sharma, suspended from BJP, on Monday approached Supreme Court seeking a stay on arrests in connection with the nine FIRs registered against her. The hearing of this petition will be held on Tuesday. About 10 cases are registered against Nupur Sharma in different states of the country. These cases were registered in the case for making controversial statements about Prophet Muhammad. Nupur Sharma has once again reached the Supreme Court for relief from arrest in these cases.
The Supreme Court had recently reprimanded Nupur Sharma saying that her “loose tongue” has “set the country on fire” and that she should apologise.
