PM Modi To Attend First I2U2 Meet
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the first meeting of the 'I2U2' Summit to be held digitally on July 14. Apart from Modi, US President Joe Biden, Israel Prime Minister Yair Lapid, UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will participate in this meeting, said the Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday.
"The first meeting of the 'I2U2' group consisting of India, Israel, the United States and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through digital means will be held on July 14," the ministry statement said.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, in this meeting, the leaders of the group will discuss possible joint projects under the 'I2U2' framework and cooperation in other areas of mutual interest, including deepening economic ties in trade and investment in their region and beyond.
Ahead Of Parl Session Sonia Gandhi To Chair Congress Strategy Meet
A meeting of senior party leaders will be held on Thursday to discuss Congress' strategy for the monsoon session of Parliament.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi will chair the Congress Parliamentary Strategy Committee meeting on July 14 at 10:30 am in which senior party leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, P Chidambaram, Jairam Ramesh, K Suresh and Manickam Tagore will participate.
Rahul Gandhi, a member of this important group, will not attend the meeting as he has gone abroad on a personal visit and will return on Sunday.
The monsoon session of Parliament will begin on July 18 and will continue till August 12.
