PM Modi To Interact With Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Awardees
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with recipients of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) on Tuesday. PM Modi will meet with the nation's child heroes at his residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.
Children have been awarded the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar by the Indian government for outstanding accomplishments in six areas—innovation, social service, academics, sports, art and culture, and bravery.
A certificate, a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, and a medal are presented to each winner. This year, 11 children from all over the country have been chosen for PMRBP-2023 from various Bal Shakti Puraskar categories. Six boys and five girls from 11 states and Union Territories are among the recipients.
Left To Declare Candidate List For Tripura Assembly Election
A senior party leader stated on Monday that the CPI(M) led Left Front is likely to announce the names of the candidates for the upcoming Tripura Assembly election on Tuesday as the seat-sharing agreement with Congress nears completion.
The deadline for submitting nominations for the 60-member Tripura Assembly is January 30. Elections will take place on February 16.
"We have already had a second round of talks on seat sharing with the Congress and hopefully it will get the final nod of the CPI(M) state committee on Monday. If things turn out to be good, the Left Front will declare the names of candidates on Tuesday", CPI(M) state committee member Pabitra Kar told PTI.
However, he did not specify the number of seats for which the party will run in the Assembly elections.
"We have organisational base in all the 60 Assembly constituencies of the state but other Left constituents and Congress will get reasonable seats.... ", he said.
According to state party president Birajit Sinha, the Congress will announce the names of candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections on January 25.
