"Abhinav Prakash, a trainee ticketing agent of British Airways, arrested for making a hoax bomb call to SpiceJet call centre at IGI Airport in Delhi yesterday," Ravi Kumar Singh, DCP IGI Airport said. "Accused disclosed that his friends Rakesh & Kunal went on a road trip to Manali & became friends with 2 girls. Both girls were departing to Pune via the SpiceJet flight. His friends told him to find out a plan to somehow delay their departure from Delhi. In pursuance of the instigation, all three formulated a malicious plan of making a hoax bomb call at the call center of Spicejet Airlines, with an ulterior motive of getting the flight cancelled. Kunal and Rakesh are presently absconding," the officer said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the world's longest river cruise, 'Ganga Vilas,' from Varanasi to Dibrugarh via Bangladesh today. The cruise ship will travel 3200 kilometres in 50 days, going through 27 river systems in India and Bangladesh, and will allow travellers to see over 50 architecturally significant areas, including world heritage sites.


According to the official website, Ganga Vilas can accommodate 80 passengers. The vessel is a magnificent river cruiser with 18 staterooms and all the facilities you could want.


The ship will also include a luxurious restaurant, spa, and sundeck. In its 40-seat restaurant on the Main Deck, there are a few buffet counters serving Continental and Indian food. According to authorities, the outdoor environment on the Upper Deck contains a bar with Real Teak Steamer Chairs and coffee tables, which is enough to give travellers with a one-of-a-kind cruise experience.

Delhi Court To Hear Police Plea Seeking Shankar Mishra's Fresh Custody On Jan 13


On an appeal filed by the Delhi Police requesting his fresh custodial questioning, a Delhi sessions court issued a notice to Shankar Mishra, the man accused of urinating on an old woman co-passenger on an Air India aircraft.


The case is expected to be heard on Friday.


Additional Meetings Judge Harjyot Singh Bhalla heard the case, which sought to overturn a decision issued on January 7 by a metropolitan magistrate, which sentenced Mishra to 14 days in court detention while rejecting police custody.


The judge gave notice to the accused and a production warrant in response to the police application.
