MPSC exam to be held from March 21st

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday (March 11) said that a new date for the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) preliminary exam will be announced today. The statement from CM Thackeray came in view of the protests from students and political parties against the government for canceling the MPSC exam, which was earlier scheduled to be conducted on March 14, due to the rising number of Coronavirus cases in the state.

Netflix to stop streaming Bombay Begums?

The apex child rights body NCPCR has asked Netflix to stop streaming 'Bombay Begums' citing inappropriate portrayal of children in the web series.


In a notice to Netflix on Thursday, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has asked the OTT platform to furnish a detailed action report within 24 hours, failing which it said it will be constrained to initiate appropriate legal action.

Police recover mobile phone in Ambani bomb threat case

In the Ambani bomb scare case Police have recovered the mobile phone from which was allegedly used to create the Telegram account and send threat posters to the Ambani. Indian Mujahideen terrorist Tehseen Akhtar alias Monu is suspected to be using this phone and police suspect that he only created the Telegram channel.

A Scorpio, with 20 gelatin sticks inside, was found near Antilia, Ambani's high-rise residence in south Mumbai, on February 25. Police said the vehicle was stolen from Airoli-Mulund Bridge on February 18.
