Jharkhand: A case was registered at Gonda Police Station on the complaint of the son of a serving Colonel in the Indian Army alleging that they were beaten up with an iron rod when they asked for a GST bill after purchasing firecrackers from a shop, ANI reported. A cross FIR has also been lodged by one of the employees of the shop alleging that the two first asked for a discount and then made derogatory remarks before getting into a brawl.

President Murmu To Present Silver Trumpet To President’s Bodyguard
President Draupadi Murmu will present a silver trumpet and trumpet banner to the 'President's bodyguard' at a ceremony in the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan on October 27, according to an official statement on Tuesday.
Those wishing to witness the special shows and celebrations can register themselves on the President's website and a limited number of seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis, the statement said.
"In the one-and-half-hour-long ceremony, the President's Bodyguard will accept President's Silver Trumpet and Trumpet Banner. The presentation parade shall thereafter be followed by an audio-visual presentation highlighting the history and significance of the Silver Trumpet and Trumpet Banner and the modern-day role of the President's Bodyguard," said the Rashtrapati Bhavan statement.
Professionally honed with precision and trained to perfection, the horsemen will display a variety of traditional Indian equestrian skills followed by the horses trotting in line with the music of the military band, it said.
"It will showcase the synchronous perfection in training, balance and ceremonial deportment of both the horse and the rider," the statement said.
'Chintan Shivir' On Cybercrime, Women's Safety, Drug Trafficking, Amit Shah To Chair Meet
Development of an ecosystem for cybercrime management, increase in usage of IT in the criminal justice system, women's safety, coastal security and other internal security issues will be discussed at the two-day 'Chintan Shivir' of home ministers of states at Surajkund in Haryana on October 27 and 28.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will preside over the 'Chintan Shivir', whose objective is to prepare an action plan for the implementation of 'Vision 2047' and 'Panch Pran' announced in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Independence Day speech, an official statement said.
Modi will address the 'Chintan Shivir' through video conferencing on October 28.
Development of an ecosystem for cybercrime management, modernisation of police forces, increase in usage of information technology in the criminal justice system, land border management and coastal security and other internal security issues will be discussed at the event, the statement said.
