With his 200th Test wicket, Bumrah became the fastest Indian pacer to reach the milestone, coming in just 44 Tests.
Scalping 200 wickets in 44 Tests, Bumrah equalled cricket legends like Pat Cummins, Ravindra Jadeja, Kagiso Rabada, Richard Hadlee and Joel Garner. In terms of the balls taken to bring up the milestone, Bumrah emerges as the fourth-fastest to take 200 Test wickets, surpassing West Indian legend Malcom Marshall. Bumrah is now the bowler with the best average among those who have taken over 200 scalps, currently averaging 19.39 with 202 Test wickets.
