The festival of Holi is being celebrated across the country today! 


Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished everyone by writing: "Happy Holi to all of you. A symbol of mutual love, affection, and brotherhood, may this festival bring every color of happiness in your lives."


Today, PM Modi will inaugurate the year-long celebrations of the centenary year of Malayalam daily Mathrubhumi at 11 AM via video conferencing.


UP CM-Designate Yogi Adityanath is in Gorakhpur for Holi celebrations. He will be in Gorakhnath temple. On Saturday, he will take part in the procession of Lord Narsingh, traditionally taken out by Rashtriya Sevak Sangh and Shri Holikotsav Samiti.


Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be reaching Jammu for his 2-day visit. Amit Shah will reach Jammu at around 6:30 pm today, after which he will go to the Raj Bhavan.


On Saturday, The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will hold its 83rd Raising Day in Jammu where Union Home Minister Amit Shah will take the salute of the ceremonial parade and also address troops.


After this event, Amit Shah will chair a multi-agency security meeting at Raj Bhavan on various operations being conducted by them in the Union Territory.


From Raj Bhavan, Amit Shah will visit Mahanpur in Kathua. He will hold another meeting to review the security scenario in view of the delimitation exercise, annual Amarnath Yatra, and the proposed assembly elections.
