The Odisha BJP will convene its first executive committee meeting in Puri starting July 19, after the formation of its government in the state. The party's national president, J P Nadda, will be also attending the meeting, a party functionary announced on Tuesday.
Initially, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was scheduled to join the two-day meeting but will be unable to attend due to health issues stated Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal.

BJP's state vice president Biranchi Tripathy mentioned that coordinators for assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies, district presidents, officials from various fronts, the chief minister, state ministers, all party MLAs and MPs, and union ministers from the state will be present at the meeting.
