IMD Predicts Heatwave In Punjab, Haryana, Delhi Till April 19

According to the Indian Meteorological Department's (IMD) most recent weather forecast, the ongoing heatwave will likely continue over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Madhya Pradesh, among other states, until April 19.

However, due to approaching western disturbances and wind conditions, the conditions are likely to improve after that.

Light isolated rainfall is expected over Punjab over the next five days, with Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi receiving light rain from April 19-22.

Over the next five days, light scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated thunderstorm/lightning/gusty winds is expected over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh, as well as over Uttarakhand on April 20-22.

Dust storms are very likely in isolated locations over West Uttar Pradesh on April 20 and 21; East Uttar Pradesh on April 21; and Rajasthan on April 18-21.
