Pune Realtor Dies After Wife Punches Him For Not Taking Her To Dubai On Her Birthday


A man died after he was allegedly punched in the face by his wife, following a heated argument on Friday in Pune’s Wanwadi area. According to PTI,  the altercation ensued because the woman was upset with her husband, Nikhil, for not arranging a trip to Dubai to celebrate her birthday. Renuka’s birthday was in September, and she expressed a desire to celebrate it in Dubai, which her husband did not fulfil, reported news agency PTI.


 


'Blatant Abuse Of Law': Delhi Court Imposes Rs 1 Lakh Fine On Woman For Filing False POCSO Case


A Delhi court imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on a woman for filing a false case alleging sexual assault on her five-year-old daughter, news agency PTI reported. Hearing a case against the woman, Additional Sessions Judge Susheel Bala Dagar said she lodged a false complaint in a fit of rage and in a bid to save herself from daily quarrels.

Prices Of Drugs For 4 Rare Diseases Drastically Come Down In India After Domestic Production


The Union Health Ministry has said that Indian pharma companies have started producing medicines for four rare diseases reducing its prices drastically minimising the reliance on expensive imported formulations, reported PTI citing officials from the ministry. Drugs for four diseases -Tyrosinemia Type 1, Gaucher's Disease, Wilson's Disease and  Dravet-Lennox Gastaut Syndrome - along with sickle cell Anemia have been approved and are being manufactured indigenously, the agency added in the report. This comes as the ministry has prioritised action related to 13 rare diseases along with sickle cell anaemia.
