Vinod Khanna's friend & co-actor Firoz Khan died on the same date 8 years ago!

Feroz Khan, the Bollywood actor once dubbed the Clint Eastwood of the East because of his maverick roles and manly swagger had been fighting cancer for a year before his death in 2009 in Bangalore.

Firoz died 8 years ago on 27th April, 2009 at the age of 69 while Vinod Khanna was 70!

Vinod Khanna and Firoz had also done 'Shambhu Shankar' in 1976, 4 years before before they did 'Qurbani' and became friends.

Firoz Khanna and Vinod Khanna had reportedly grown close to each other and went on to become thick buddies post doing 'Qurbani' together that was directed and produced also by Firoz Khan.

Then they were seen in 'Dayavan' together in 1988.

This is not all! Firoz Khan and Vinod Khanna even died battling the same disease which is cancer.

Firoz at 69 and Vinod at 70 battling the same disease cancer and taking their last breath on the same date i.e. 27th April just 8 years apart.

Firoz and Vinod Khanna did many films together including 1980's hit 'Qurbani' 1980.

Here's a cruel coincidence about Vinod Khann's death and that is that his close buddy and co-actor of many films Firoz Khan, another handsome hunk of Bollywood had died on the same date i.e. 27th April.

The great friends did not only die at the same age but they were both the same age when they bid goodbye to the world leaving a deep void in the hearts of their families, industry friends and fans.

Vinod Khan breathed his last today at 11.20 am in Mumbai hospital. He died of carcinoma, the advanced cancer of the bladder.
