Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma walked for good friend Manish Malhotra at the Mijwan 2017 fashion show in Mumbai yesterday.

Azmi told IANS, ” We’ve had the fortune of all the stars walking for us — right from Amitabh Bachchan to Sidharth Malhotra. The only person left was Shah Rukh. I am extremely thankful to him for having agreed to walk the ramp for Mijwan.

NGO Mijwan Welfare Society, founded by Shabana's late father Kaifi Azmi was launched with the goal of creating employment opportunities for women, and reviving the art of chikankari embroidery.

Shaban said Anushka Sharma is someone I consider a part of Mijwan family. She has very graciously walked for us earlier.”

Manish Malhotra looked extremely thrilled to bring the show to this conclusion.

The Mijwan Fashion event is held annually to raise money for the development of craftswomen under Shabana Azmi’s NGO Mijwan Welfare Society.
