RIP Rajan Nanda: Abhishek Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai at Shweta Nanda's father-in-law's last rites!

Shweta Bachchan Nanda's father-in-law who's the husband of Raj Kapoor's daughter Ritu Kapoor, passed away on Sunday night.

The father of Nikhil Nanda, Rajan Nanda, was reportedly declared brain-dead at a hospital in Gurgaon and the Bachchan-Nanda families mourned his death with Riddhima Kapoor Sahni(Neetu-Rishi Kapoor's daughter) also confirming the same in her tweet she posted saying - You were are & will always remain a legend! Thank you for all the love always - will miss you so much uncle - until we meet again RIP uncle Rajan.

After hearing the news of his death, Big B who was in Bulgaria busy shooting for Brahmastra, left for India. He posted on his blog, My relative Mr Rajan Nanda, Nikhil's Father, Father-in-Law of Shweta, .. just passed away .. leaving for India. (All Pics: Manav Manglani)

Amitabh Bachchan has also flown from Bulgaria where he was shooting for 'Brahmastra', to attend the last rites of Rajan Nanda.

The last rites are being held here in Delhi where the family resided and Abhishek Bachchan arrived here a while ago with wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
