It was reported earlier this year that Sooraj plans to get into the hospitality business in partnership with his sister, Sana, by opening a health café in Mumbai. Sana already owns a fine dining restaurant in Goa, but Sooraj isn’t involved in that venture.

Sana Pancholi was dragged into a drug scandal a few years back when it was reported that Sana and Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhant were detained by the cops at a renowned pub in Mumbai. She later said - I was at that place and some 200 other people were also there. My name was highlighted because of my surname. It was upsetting because my parents were dragged into it. It didn't affect my career in anyway.

Sana and Sooraj are a closely bonded sister-brother duo and she was quoted saying by a website - Sooraj is younger to me but he’s a lot more mature than me. He’s also more sensible. People keep thinking that I am his younger sibling and I have to clarify it to everyone. He’s extremely protective and caring.

Sana was supposed to maker her Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut's 'Shakalaka Boom Boom' back in 2007 but it was said that Sana was not ready to expose, hence the role later went to Kangna. There were talks about Vivek Vaswani’s Direct Dil Se and Suneel Darshan’s Shakalaka Boom Boom but neither eventually featured her.
