Karan now calls Dimple his mother and every year posts the picture of both Dimple and his late mother Simple to wish them on Mother's Day together.

Turned 25 just 2 days ago on September 16th, Karan has been living his cousin Twinkle Khanna & famiy since 2009 when his mother passed away succumbing to cancer.

Midday reports, while the director is yet to be finalised, debutant Ashima Sharma has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Karan Kapadia.

The used-to-be plump Karan worked out hard on his body preparing for his entry in films and now he is all set to feature in one that's helmed by Producer-Director Tony D'souza.

Karan often makes public appearances with his Mausi Dimple on various events.

The two will be making cameo appearances in the debut film of none other than the newcomer star kid who comes from their own family, Karan Kapadia who's the nephew of Dimple Kapadia.

It was none other than his 'jeeju' Akshay Kumar who paved way by introducing him to Tony. Romance drama the movie will be produced by Ranjeet Sharma and D'Souza will serve as the creative director reports a popular daily.
