In 'Patna Shuklla,' a tailor stitches an undergarment of a customer, using just one meter of cloth instead of the required 1.5 meters. When a thief steals the customer's wife's purse while fleeing, he fails to catch him due to the tight stitching of the undergarment. He files a case on the tailor which is taken up by Tanvi Shukla, played by Raveena Tandon, who faces skepticism not only from her family but also from others who don't see her as a real lawyer but rather as just a housewife. The story revolves around a case that could impact the lives of millions of students. 


Plot
Tanvi Shukla is a lawyer who typically handles minor cases. Her husband believes she should focus on opening a restaurant instead. However, when she encounters a case where a student, Rinki Kumari, claims her exam paper was tampered with, the story takes a dramatic turn. This case exposes corruption, and Tanvi's life is shaken by the revelations.
 



How is the film
'Patna Shuklla' narrates the story of numerous stand-ins in society, where everyone expects their scores to be good. While not everyone faces corruption, some do, and this film touches on issues that affect many families. It's straightforward and heartfelt, narrating the story in an easy-to-understand manner that resonates with the audience. Raveena Tandon's portrayal of a talented housewife who fights against odds is commendable, and viewers can empathize with her struggles. The court scenes are engaging, and the stakes keep you hooked. Overall, it's an enjoyable watch. 


Acting
Raveena Tandon delivers an exceptional performance, portraying the pain of a housewife with authenticity. Anushka Kaushik shines in her role as a student, not overshadowed by glamour. Manav Vij impresses as Raveena's husband, while Satish Kaushik is perfect as the judge, bringing a sense of familiarity to the screen. Jatin Goswami and Chandan Roy Sanyal also deliver solid performances.
 


Direction
Vivek Budakoti and Rajendra Tiwari's direction is commendable. While some additional twists could have made the film more entertaining, their treatment of the story is well-received.
 


Arbaaz Khan's entry as a producer into OTT platforms with this film deserves praise, as he has invested in quality content. 


'Patna Shuklla' is worth watching. You'll relate to it, and Raveena Tandon's stellar performance alone makes it a must-watch.
