‘Money Heist’ Season 5 Volume 2 starts with Tokyo’s narration and the gang trying to overcome her demise in their own ways. Beautifully scripted by Alex Pina, the web series is not only about a heist but has its own way of sketching the meaning of life. Maintaining its real-time-like fashion and relying on flashbacks, the last part of ‘Money Heist’ sure does sustain Berlin and Tokyo as one of their leading characters.
Berlin, who played the character of Sergio’s brother, died in Season 2 of the series. But, being one of the masterminds behind the Bank of Spain heist, the makers brilliantly incorporated his character in the show. They also introduced Berlin’s son in the show, who plays an important part in the heist, but not the way it was intended to be.
The story focusses more on Berlin’s past and shows the audience how he, along with the Professor and Palermo, planned the entire heist to rob the Bank of Spain and take out all the gold. The last season of ‘La Casa De Papel’ also shares a glimpse of Sergio’s past and how robbery runs in their family, a tradition set by their father.
Each character in the show goes through an emotional ride as their hopes on the Professor begin to dwindle and they start questioning his course of action. The pregnant police officer Alicia Sierra’s character, however, could have been well written off. The audience sure does get a glimpse of her headstrong character every now and then, but it would have been a treat to watch more of the reckless Alicia.
In a nutshell, the last part of ‘La Casa De Papel’ or popularly known as ‘Money Heist’ worldwide, is full of emotions and love, packed with the right amount of adrenaline rush. It was a perfect ending for all the characters the show. Along with the script, the makers managed to keep up with the essence of each character till the end of ‘Money Heist’.
It indeed is ‘Bella Ciao’ for all the ‘Money Heist’ fans.
