In the run-up to the Met Gala on Monday, the two most pressing questions for everyone are whether Rihanna will attend and what she will wear. One cannot blame the internet for wondering the same thing, given all of the incredible looks she has worn to the Met Ball, from the unforgettable yellow Guo Pei gown in 2015 to the bedazzling Maison Margiela pope look in 2018. And, like her fans, Rihanna appears to be looking forward to the start of the first Monday of May celebrations.

The Diamonds singer, who is expecting her second child, was seen out and about in New York City this weekend wearing a fur dress that was both on-theme and showed off her baby bump. Check out her photos here:

RIHANNA'S TRIBUTE TO KARL LAGERFELD:

The paparazzi clicked Rihanna as she stepped out in New York City on the weekend. The pregnant singer and entrepreneur was leaving a restaurant in the Big Apple. Rihanna also shared her pictures and captioned the post: "Not even Monday". Rihanna stunned in a micro mini dress and styled it with accessories from Chanel's fall 1994 collection, designed by Karl Lagerfeld. Ever since the singer posted her pictures in that dress, netizens flooded the comments section with praises. Serena Williams said, "The Baddest in the game", Vanessa Hudgens commented, "Oh My God".

DECODING RIHANNA'S 'NOT EVEN MONDAY' LOOK:

Rihanna flaunted her growing baby bump in a fuzzy white faux fur dress from Coperni's shelves. The sleeveless dress has a plunging neckline that shows off her décolletage, a figure-hugging silhouette, and a micro mini hem length that shows off her legs. She paired it with Karl Lagerfeld's signature Chanel cropped faux-fur jacket in black and white. It has a front opening, full-length sleeves, and a short hem.

Rihanna accessorised her look with diamond earrings and rings. A messy hairstyle, blush pink lip colour, glowing skin, and feathered brows completed the look.

Meanwhile, Rihanna accessorised the look with vintage CC [Chanel] logo sunglasses, strappy Amina Muaddi heels, and a Benny Andallo custom faux fur hat. The covetable '90s Chanel pieces that she wore couldn't have been more Met Gala-ready. This makes us wonder if she's hinting that she'll be on the iconic Met steps tomorrow!
