Mahashivratri 2023: From Ajay Devgn To Kangana Ranaut- Celebs Extend Wishes On This Auspicious Festival

Celebrities from the Indian Television industry also observe this festival with great zeal and they have extended their wishes and also shared glimpses from their celebration on social media. 

New Delhi: Mahashivratri is being celebrated on February 18 throughout the country and on this day devotees fast and pray to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Devotees try to appease the almightly and seek blessings for a happy and prosperous life.  To perform the puja, water, milk, belpatra, flowers, and other items are offered to the Shivling. 

Celebrities from the Indian Television industry also observe this festival with great zeal and enthusiasm and they have extended their wishes and also shared glimpses of their celebration on social media. 

Taking to Twitter, Kangana shared a picture of her celebration where she can be seen worshipping a Shivling. 

South superstar Mahesh Babu also tweeted and wished his followers on this auspicious occasion. He wrote, "Wishing you all a happy Mahashivratri! May the light always guide you."

Fans and followers have taken to the comments section and have wished them in return. 

Mahesh’s brother-in-law actor Sudheer Babu also wrote, "Wishing you a happy Maha Shivratri! May the blessings and eternal energy of Lord Shiva be with you always!! Om Namah Shivaya." He also added a picture of Lord Shiva to his post. 

Director Sreenu Vaitla too took to the occasion and tweeted, "Happy Maha Sivarathri to all. May Lord Parameswara bless us with happiness and prosperity."

South superstar Samyuktha Menon also wished everyone by posting a picture of her on social media.

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn has shared pictures of Shivratri celebrations with the caption, "Har Har Mahadev." The pictures are from his shoot where he was shooting for an aarti sequence for the film 'Bholaa'.  

Sunny Deol has also wished the citizens of the country on the occasion of Mahashivratri by tweeting a picture of the Lord.
