Poha Recipe: If one has travelled across parts of Central India there is a trend to eat poha for breakfast. Poha is one of the ultimate choices in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra for breakfast. This, however, does not limit Poha's popularity in India. Poha tastes good when made right but people complain that their poha turns out dry.

That is why many prefer to eat readymade poha from the market instead of making poha at home. Today we will tell you how to make soft and perfectly nutritious poha at home in a simple way.

How To Make Soft And Fluffy Poha

1- Put the poha in a large steel sieve and wash and rinse it thoroughly under the tap.
2- Keep the sieve aside to drain out extra water.
3- Now put oil in a pan and turn the gas on.
4- When the oil is hot, fry the peanuts and take them out.
5- Now add mustard seeds in the oil. Then add curry leaves, green chillies, onions, and finely chopped potatoes.
6- When the potatoes are cooked well, add some salt and turmeric to it.
7- Now add chopped tomatoes and fry them. If you want to eat spicy poha, add some red chilli powder.
8- Now fluff the poha kept in the sieve with light hands.
9- Now add poha to the oil in the pan and mix it well. If the poha is hard and dry, sprinkle some water and cover it with the lid. Turn the gas off.
10- Now serve by adding chopped green coriander, some lemon, and some crunchy sev on top.
