Matar Samosa Recipe: Everybody likes samosas. The first thing that comes to mind when you want to have a quick snack is Samosas. You might have often had samosas made with potatoes, but have you ever had samosas made with green peas? Most people would say no. So, here is a recipe to make delicious green peas samosas at home.


Ingredients for making Green Peas Samosas:


2 boiled potatoes, 1/4 cup green peas, 1/2 inch square piece of cottage cheese, 5 cashewnuts, 1 teaspoon of raisins, 1 tsp of ginger paste, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 small cumin powder, Salt to taste, 1 tsp sugar, 1 finely chopped green chilly, 1/4 tsp of chilly powder, 1/4 tsp of garam masala, 2 tsp coriander.


Recipe to make Green Peas Samosas:


You first need to add a pinch of salt to 2 cups of all-purpose flour and then knead the mixture into a dough with half a teaspoon of oil. Keep the dough for a while. Put 1 tbsp of oil in a non stick pan, and let it heat a little. Then, add ginger paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, sugar, cashew nuts and raisins to the pan and fry the mixture for two minutes.


Add green peas and then keep frying the mixture. Knead the dough for a bit again and make small bowls out of it using a bit of flour. Then, roll the small balls like flatbreads, then fill it with stuffing. Then, heat some oil in a pan and fry samosas in that oil. This is how you can make delicious green peas samosas.
