Gujarati Mohanthal: Ingredients
- Chickpea flour-2 cup
- Milk-1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
- Sugar - 1/2 cups
- Almond-chopped
- Pistachio-chopped
- Ghee-3/4 cup
Gujarati Mohanthal: Method
- First strain the chickpea flour.
- Now add ghee to a pan, heat it lightly and add milk to it.
- Now add chickpea flour and cardamom to it and fry on a low flame till it turns brown.
- Now prepare 2 string sugar syrups in another pot.
- When the roasted chickpea flour cools down a bit, put it in the syrup.
- Now add milk to it as needed and let it become a little soft.
- Now spread this mixture in a plate and add almonds and pistachios on top.
- Let it cool down and then cut it into square shape.
- Your Mohanthal is ready.
