Inside Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck's New Home In Los Angeles — See Photos

The 5.2-acre estate had been on and off the market for five years before capturing the hearts of Lopez and Affleck. Check out the details here.

The Hollywood power couple, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have made a spectacular real estate purchase in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. After a two-year house hunt, the couple is said to have paid $61 million (or Rs 494 crore) for a magnificent mansion. According to People, the couple married last July and have now secured an impressive estate nestled atop the prestigious Benedict Canyon neighbourhood, as confirmed by sources including the Wall Street Journal. The 5.2-acre estate had been on and off the market for five years before capturing the hearts of Lopez and Affleck.

Luxury Listings' Instagram provided a glimpse of the property and some interesting details about it. Originally listed for $135 million (Rs 11 billion), the mansion was recently reduced to $75 million (Rs 618 crore). However, the celebrity couple was able to reach an agreement, securing the property with a cash purchase. It marks a significant turning point in their relationship as they embark on their new adventure together.

The history of the mansion is as intriguing as its price tag. It has passed through the hands of several prominent figures over the years. Alex Yemenidjian, the former CEO of MGM Studios, and Curtis Somoza, a now-convicted Ponzi schemer, were among the previous owners.

Gala Asher, a high-end house developer, purchased the property in 2016 and transformed it into the luxurious contemporary mansion it is today.

The lavish amenities at the mansion include a sprawling sports complex with an indoor pickleball court, a gym, a boxing ring, and a lounge area. The outdoor spaces are equally impressive, with a covered entertainment pavilion equipped with a full outdoor kitchen and a 155-foot infinity pool. The mansion perfectly caters to the couple's opulent lifestyle, with a 10-car garage and off-street parking for up to 80 additional cars.

Lopez and Affleck have both listed their previous homes for sale in preparation for their move. Last year, Affleck sold his Pacific Palisades home for $28 million (Rs 230 crore), while Lopez recently listed her Bel Air estate for $42 million (Rs 345 crore).

In 2021, Hollywood's favourite couple rekindled their romance. Their love story reached new heights when they got engaged in April 2022. As if their love couldn't get any more enthralling, the couple surprised the world by marrying in a spontaneous Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022. But that was only the start of their fairytale. Affleck and Lopez took their love to new heights when they married in a lavish ceremony at Affleck's sprawling home in Georgia just a month later.
