Dubai Princess Shaikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced her divorce from her husband, Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, via Instagram. Following the triple talakh system, she wrote, "I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you...'. Being the daughter of Dubai's ruler, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikha was married to Sheikh Mana, who also belongs to royalty, for the past one year. They became parents two months back, after the birth of their first child.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Sheikha wrote, "Dear Husband,” the Dubai princess began. “As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife."

Netizens took to the comments section and lauded her courage for shattering norms and taking a stand for herself. Shaikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum got married to Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum last year in June and both of them kept their Instagram family updated with their royal love story. From their wedding to date nights- netizens caught a glimpse of it all, witnessing their journey through rectangles.

After the wedding, the couple were spotted visiting the world-renowned Mediterranean restaurant Novikov Café in Downtown Dubai, and also on another date night when they visited a shooting range, where the Sheikh applauded his wife’s marksman skills.
Escaping the Dubai heat during the summer, the royal couple journeyed to the Greek islands to enjoy their honeymoon together. Sharing a series of photos of their travels, Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana jetted off to Mykonos.

In early October the couple visited London, ahead of Sheikh Mana’s 25 birthday, pictures and videos of which were doing the rounds on the internet, as Sheikh grilled dinner for the night and the two strolled along a park together.
