New Delhi: Gudi Padwa marks the beginning of the traditional new year for Marathi and Konkani Hindus and is celebrated mainly in and around Maharashtra, Goa, and Madhya Pradesh at the beginning of Chaitra. This festival is being celebrated on March 22 this year. Along with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi is being celebrated in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka on this day. In addition to these, it is also the first day of the Chaitra Navratri festival.
Many celebrities across the country have taken to Twitter to wish the country on these occasions. Shirley Setia shared a few pictures in a green and maroon saree to wish her fans.
